Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Marshall Varner spent much of his professional career throughout the Carolinas before relocating to Northeast Tennessee with his partner, Tom, who serves as the Associate Director of Bands at Dobyns-Bennett High School. Now proud to call the Tri-Cities home, Marshall understands firsthand that buying or selling a home is about much more than a transaction. It's one of life's biggest transitions, and having the right person to guide you through it can make all the difference.

Before entering real estate, Marshall spent more than 15 years supporting business operations, organizational growth, and strategic initiatives for organizations across multiple states. His background in operations, human resources, mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit leadership, and client service developed the communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills he now brings to every real estate transaction.

In addition to helping buyers and sellers, Marshall brings firsthand experience in property management, tenant relations, and real estate investing as the owner of residential rental properties himself. That perspective allows him to better understand the long-term value of real estate, whether clients are purchasing their first home, expanding an investment portfolio, or relocating for a new opportunity.

Licensed in Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina, Marshall is passionate about building lasting relationships and providing honest guidance, responsive communication, and exceptional service. He believes the best REALTORS® become trusted advisors before, during, and long after closing.

Outside of real estate, Marshall enjoys traveling, exploring local restaurants and wineries, tackling home improvement and design projects, building LEGO creations, and collecting vinyl records. He also enjoys supporting the Dobyns-Bennett Band program alongside Tom and looks forward to becoming actively involved in the Tri-Cities community. Marshall and Tom share their home with two beloved dogs, Krypto, their Golden Retriever, and Chloe.

Ironically, she sold it so fast that I found myself scrambling to empty the house. There was still furniture, an attic full of belongings, and a storage shed that all had to be cleared out. Most agents would have wished me luck. Brooke actually showed up and spent her own personal time helping me get everything emptied. That wasn’t part of her job, but she did it anyway because she genuinely cared about helping me get to the closing table. What impressed me most was that she never treated me like just another client. She was always available when I had questions, kept me informed throughout the process, and was proactive instead of reactive. I always felt like she was looking out for my best interests. Buying or selling a home can be stressful under normal circumstances. Selling an estate property from another state could have been overwhelming, but Brooke’s knowledge, organization, and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience much easier than I ever imagined.
