As the summer approaches, the real estate market in the Tri-Cities continues to deliver record-setting numbers. While the total inventory of homes has remained around one and a half months, the selling prices in each of the major metros (Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol) has increased significantly. Bristol, TN saw the most significant increase in home prices with month-over-month prices jumping $91,642. Kingsport, TN saw the biggest increase in homes sold with a total of 158 residential closings, bringing the year-to-date total to 838 residential closings. For the first time since the pandemic, Johnson City, TN saw a decrease in the total number of residential closings in June. Check out the infographic below for more information.
