A lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities region, Riley has lived, worked, and played in the Kingsport area for most of his life. He attended Sullivan County schools and graduated from Sullivan South High School before earning an associate degree in Business Administration from Northeast State Community College. Riley went on to complete bachelor’s degrees in both Business Management and Marketing Management at East Tennessee State University. Further continuing his education, Riley went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ETSU in 2021.
Riley began his real estate career in 2016 after first pursuing opportunities in real estate investing. His background in real estate investment inspired him to approach the industry from a broader perspective - helping clients buy and sell properties while also understanding the financial and strategic aspects behind each transaction. Since then, Riley has proceeded to obtain his Tennessee Broker's License while pursuing additional endorsements and designations to better serve his clients. Riley remains active in real estate investing, bringing valuable expertise in creative structuring and financing, as well as investment analysis.
Before entering real estate, Riley held various roles across East Tennessee State University’s campus, where he developed a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Whether guiding students or clients, Riley finds fulfillment in seeing people reach milestones and realize their dreams.
Outside of real estate, Riley is an avid automotive enthusiast and licensed pilot. He can often be found tearing into a project in the garage, driving a mountain road, or in the skies over Tennessee. Dedicated to community involvement, he regularly volunteers and enjoys giving back to the region he calls home. His hobbies also include sporting clays, target shooting, mountain biking, investing, and discussing business plans.
Proud to call Northeast Tennessee home, Riley comes from a family of devoted pet lovers and enjoys spending time with his family’s five cats and dog. His lifelong connection to the area allows him to share a deep knowledge of the region with his clients, helping them feel at home in the community he loves.

National Association of REALTORS® Official Certification - At Home With Diversity®
At Home with Diversity® (AHWD) is a NAR certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. Since 1998, the At Home With Diversity® program has prepared over 20,000 REALTORS® to work effectively with and within today's increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers.
The At Home with Diversity® course is a 6-to-7 hour class that can be taken online or in person and addresses the topics of diversity, fair housing, and business planning development. After successfully completing the course, REALTORS® are eligible to apply for the official AHWD certification, which conveys to clients they're working with a dynamic real estate professional with expertise that transcends cultural barriers.
